To ensure compliance with State of Washington Aquatic Invasive Species Decontamination (WAC 220-220-220 7a-b), pre-registration will be required prior to launching on Mineral Lake for the purpose of entering your catch in the Derby (dock/shore caught fish do not require pre-registration, they do require purchase of a Derby ticket if planning on entering the Derby). The Derby begins Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 12:01am – deadline to enter catch is Sunday, April 28, 2024 at 11:00am – tickets are $10.00 each.
ALL Derby participants MUST purchase their Derby tickets BEFORE their fishing line hits the water.
State of Washington Aquatic Invasive Species Decontamination (WAC 220-220-220 7a-b) requires that prior to launching into any Washington state body of water, (a) all contest participants are required to sign an aquatic invasive species decontamination statement that their boats and/or boat trailers have or have not been in physical contact with any waters outside of Washington state for thirty days immediately preceding the contest.
If the boat and/or trailer has been in contact with such waters, the participant must complete an aquatic invasive species decontamination report indicating that the appropriate actions have been taken.
