Saturday & Sunday, April 25 & 26, 2026

All anglers who are 15 or older are required to have a valid Washington State fishing license and a valid State issued ID.  Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult with a valid State issued ID.
Any person entering a fish into the Fishing Derby must be willing to submit that fish for inspection.

IMPORTANT
Please remember, in compliance with the State of Washington ALL boats participating in the Derby MUST register before launching into Mineral Lake (Please review the Public Notice). Also, ALL Derby participants MUST purchase their Derby tickets BEFORE their fishing line hits the water.  Participants must have a valid Washington State Fishing Permit and a valid State issued ID,

DERBY REGISTRATION

Early Derby Registration begins at 12:00 pm, Friday, April 24, 2026 at the Lions/Legion Community Building, 108 E Front St.
This is for boat registration (as per WA State rules) and Derby & Raffle tickets purchases.

• ALL boats participating in the Derby MUST register before launching into Mineral Lake (Please review the Public Notice).
• ALL Derby participants MUST purchase their Derby tickets BEFORE their fishing line hits the water. 
• Derby Tickets are $10 per person.

    PRIOR TO DERBY START AT Lions/Legion Community Building (LLCB)
    AFTER THE DERBY START AT Lions/Legion Community Building (LLCB) & Lions Den Campground (LDC) DURING SPECIFIC TIMES.
  • TICKETS WILL NO LONGER BE SOLD AT THE STATE BOAT LAUNCH.
  • Cash Only.

DERBY TIMES

• Derby begins at 12:01am on Opening Day, Saturday, April 25, 2026, as designated by Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife; and
• Derby ends at 11:00am Sunday, April 26, 2026.
• Derby Winners will be announced at 12:00pm, Sunday, April 26, 2026 – Must be present to win!

WEIGH IN

Any person entering a fish into the Fishing Derby must be willing to submit that fish for inspection.

• Weigh in at the Mineral Lake Lions Den Campground “Weigh in Tent”
  • TO BE ANNOUCED
• Final weigh in on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at 11:00am.

DERBY WINNERS & PRIZES

All fish entered into the Fishing Derby are subject to mandatory inspection. Refusal to submit a fish for inspection will result in disqualification.

• Derby Winners will be announced Sunday, April 26, 2026, at 12:00pm – Must be present to win!
• Derby prizes are awarded to the top 5 (five) largest fish. Fish are measured first by weight then by length, and finally by girth. Results are final. 
• All non-winning derby tickets will be eligible for the “Second Chance Bucket Drawing” after the Derby Winners are announced.

RAFFLE PRIZES

• Raffle tickets are $10 (Limited number available).
• Raffle winners will be announced beginning at 4pm, Saturday, April 25, 2026. Must be present to win!
• Raffle tickets must have a legible name and contact information to be eligible.

ALL prizes not picked up by 3:00pm on Sunday, April 26, 2026, will be forfeited.
